DELIVERY

What will happen once I have placed my order?

Once your order is received, an automated acknowledgement will be sent confirming receipt of your order. If you do not receive this email, please let us know and we will look into it.

 

Our design team will then contact you and work with you to ensure that any personalised wedding favours are exactly how you want them. We can change the colour, font, designs etc. and make several rounds of changes (as long as the design team is not too busy!) if necessary to make sure the end design is exactly how you want it. We aim to pack and deliver your order within the estimated delivery time.  We will always contact you to let you know once your order is on its way.

 

What are your delivery times?

Our personalised Zam Zam Favours and Ajwa mini jars can be prepared and dispatched within 48 hours depending on the nature and quantity of the final order. All other products require approx. 4-5 weeks as most of our products are personalised in nature. We have given such a long lead time to ensure that our customers are not let down on their special day. Most of the time our delivery times will be a lot less. Please contact us if you have any questions or queries regarding this.  

 

Are you able to ship sooner than your estimated delivery times?

Yes, most of the time we can. But we provide an estimated 4-5 week delivery time just to be on the safe side. We want to ensure that your special day is not let down by a lack of favours. Please contact us for all ‘rush orders’ and we will try our very best to assist.

What shipping service do you use?

We ship all items using DHL or DPD. In the majority of cases we will use DHL which means your order will be fully trackable. 

 

What is the cost of the shipping?

We have a standard charge of £7.99 for small to medium sized orders.

 

Do you ship outside the UK?

Sadly not! We are so sorry.

How can I track my order?

After we ship your order out, we will provide you with a tracking number and the name of the delivery company so you can track it online.

What if I don't recieve my order?

If you do not receive your order within 4 working days from the date of dispatch, please contact Customer Services on 01274 442 542 or email us on info@theshaadipeople.com.

What if the order is damaged during delivery?

In the unlikely event that an order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 3 working days by emailing info@theshaadipeople.com. We will ensure that the problem is resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

RETURNS

What is your policy on returns?

We understand that situations can change sometimes which means you may need to return your order to us. We have therefore categorised our items into three:

 

  • Personalised Items -  We normally send all personalised items to print within 24 hours of you placing an order. Therefore, all personalised items can only be cancelled within the first 24 hours of making the payment. Thereafter, we would not be able to refund or cancel your order. This is because our personalised products are designed to your specific requirements and cannot be resold. We hope this makes sense.

  • Perishable & Assembled Products - Food or flowers cannot be refunded. We are unable to accept returns on sweets or chocolates or items that we have assembled for you.

  • Non-Personalised Items - Non-personalised items can be cancelled or refunded/exchanged within the first 14 days of receiving your order. Please ensure that the contents of the order are returned in their original condition. We will offer a full refund on the order excluding original delivery charges.

  • The items must be returned in a 'brand new' condition.

​​

  • The customer shall be responsible for shipping costs for the return of the items.

​​

  • Returns based on printed colour issues are not accepted due to colour variations on computer screens.  Please consider a slight colour change from your actual printed material to what you see on the screen (proofs sent electronically).

 

  • If there is a problem with your order, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do everything possible to fix it for you.
